The work of artist Terri Heinrichs conveys an Old World elegance, using a style of painting reminiscent of ancient frescos. Her trademark style grew out of a love of nature and an appreciation for time-worn beauty and rich texture. ARTISTIC BACKGROUND "Art has always played an important role in my life. Born into a family of talented artists and artisans, my greatest challenge has been to choose a medium. I started with sketching and watercolor painting, then branched into flower arranging, calligraphy, sewing, pottery, cake decorating, woodcarving, tile mosaics, picture framing, photography and woodworking. These interests each play a role in giving life to my paintings. American painters Jacques Lamy and Joseph Decker have influenced technique and composition, respectively."
